Lewis V. A. Jackson, IV is the Founder and Managing Director of LJA Consulting, LLC.

Mr. Jackson founded LJA in 1998 and has over 15 years of compensation consulting and human capital experience.

As the Director of Compensation, and later as the Head of Global Compensation at HMSHost Corporation (formerly Host Marriott Services) Lewis worked directly with the Board of Directors and the Senior Executive Team.  He was responsible for the design, development and administration of all executive and employee compensation programs for the $2.0 billion organization, with over 25,000 world-wide employees.

Prior to joining Host Marriott Services, Lewis held consulting positions at both Mercer and Towers Watson in the Washington, DC metro area.  As a consultant and project manager, Lewis worked with Fortune 200 companies to develop comprehensive compensation solutions.

Lewis received his degree in Industrial Management from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University in 1991. 

He is a member of WorldatWork and the Society for Human Resource Management.
